About the Astana
آستانہ عالیہ خانو ہارنی شریف
A Chishti Nizami spiritual home on the Lahore – Kasur Road, kept alive by love for the Beloved ﷺ, the remembrance of Allah and the service of His creation.
ذکر کا مقام
The Astana is gathered around the blessed resting place of Hazrat Syed Ali Hussain Kazmi. Visitors come to offer Fatiha, to sit in the quiet of zikr and to pray to Allah in a place where He has long been remembered.
دل کی درسگاہ
The mehfil is a school. Naat, manqabat, sama and salam teach patience in the long nights, humility in the crowds and gratitude in every dawn.
کھلا دسترخوان
In the Chishti way, no guest is turned away. The langar feeds everyone who comes, rich or poor, known or stranger, at the same mat and from the same degh.
امانت کی حفاظت
The Mehfil-e-Milad of 12 Rabi ul Awal, the luminous night of the 11th, the Urs and the Mela are held each year as a trust, so the next generation inherits the same light.
The spiritual lineage of the Astana
سلسلہ عالیہ چشتیہ نظامیہ
The Chishti order reached South Asia with Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti of Ajmer and flowered through his successors to Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya of Delhi, from whom the Nizami branch takes its name. Its marks are love for all of creation, an open langar, the sama that softens the heart, and service of the poor.
